taboctrlize Volkswagen has several platforms that their cars are based upon.
The A platform is used for Volkswagen's front-wheel drive small cars, such as the Jetta, Golf, and New Beetle.
The B platform is used for Volkswagen's front-wheel drive midsize cars, such as the Passat.
The E platform is used for the Volkswagen Touareg, along with the Porsche Cayenne, and a LWB version is used for the Audi Q7.
